Week 16: Investment opportunity of a lifetime 2.0!!

Dear reader, I want to get back to the fact that we facing a crisis that we have never seen before. Several weeks ago I wrote a blog about the investing opportunity of a lifetime. Now several weeks further I want to update you a bit on the investment opportunity of a lifetime. The markets change on a daily basis and even some of the greatest analysts and forecasters can't keep up with everything that is changing in the current market conditions. So it is only fare to keep you posted. Since my last update the markets have been fluctuating. Oil has been failing to keep the may future contracts alive and they lost over 200% in one day. This means that companies would pay you to take there oil. What I find strange is that not a lot has been changed because of the crisis. I mean on a financial way. Week 15: Principles!!

Dear reader, A while ago I had a coffee with my father and we where having a father son conversation. After a while we where talking about principles and rules. He made a great statement, rules are for your first part of your life to know where the boundary is. Principles are for your adult life and this is where you live by. A principle is a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior for a chain of reasoning. Rules are mend to be broken, principles are a way of living, thinking or executing. Principles are very important these days and needs to be used effective to guide you on your journey. Week 14: Mindfulness!!

Dear reader, What is mindfulness? It is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. What we do when we are mindful is that we pay true attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them. The beauty of mindfulness is that there is no right or wrong. There is no one specific way to practice mindfulness. You just have to understand the technique and it can do wonders for you. I have been reading and learning about meditation and mindfulness for a while now. I also have a mind that never shuts up and keeps going. Only when I am in specific states like sleeping or meditating I have the true power of controlling my thoughts and being able to quite my mind for a small period of time. Being able to learn more about meditation and mindfulness has been a powerful lesson in my life. Why mindfulness? We have about 60.000 different thoughts in one day. Week 13: Progress report Q1!!

Dear reader, Every once and a while you need to check up if you are on the right track. For companies listed on the stock market they have quarterly earnings reports. I will be having these to. It would be a report about the progress I have been making on my goals, dreams and desires. This report will be detailed about every aspect of my life and I will see what improvements I need to make for the next quarter or for the remainder of the year. I will divide the report into three parts, goals, habits and finances. The goals I have explained in an earlier blog and I have written them out at the beginning of the year.
