Week 16: Investment opportunity of a lifetime 2.0!!

Dear reader,

I want to get back to the fact that we facing a crisis that we have never seen before. Several weeks ago I wrote a blog about the investing opportunity of a lifetime. Now several weeks further I want to update you a bit on the investment opportunity of a lifetime. The markets change on a daily basis and even some of the greatest analysts and forecasters can't keep up with everything that is changing in the current market conditions. So it is only fare to keep you posted.

Since my last update the markets have been fluctuating. Oil has been failing to keep the may future contracts alive and they lost over 200% in one day. This means that companies would pay you to take there oil. What I find strange is that not a lot has been changed because of the crisis. I mean on a financial way. Yes the markets are down, business is difficult. But it seams that the real effect hasn't been out yet.

More to come?

Short answer: Yes. There is way more to come. The United States has put on the printing press and every day bit by bit the dollar is starting to evaporate. The real value of the dollar is almost at zero and when this happens people will be in serious trouble. Like I mentioned earlier, the oil market has been brought down to its knees. Because of no air travel, reduced cars on the road and major industries not needing any of it.

Every industry is affected on one way or the other. The fear is growing every day for business owners, investors and shareholders if the companies that they run will be able to open up back to normal in the near future. Unfortunately I am not able to predict what is going to happen but I think we have more financial collapses coming are way. They will hit some people harder than others. If you are not prepared you need to rush to educate yourself.

My predictions:

For every day that we loose business we will loose businesses. During each crisis it is a game of survival. Who will be able to survive and who will loose out to the game. The once who loose will loose jobs, families, homes and everything they have worked there life for. The once who survive need to restructure, implement changes and start over again. The road will be long and it would be stressful, emotional and a bitter pill to swallow.

The world will never be the same as it was. I don't know what is all going to change, nor do I know if I will be right. But I think that we will have a financial crisis worse than the great depression. Tens of millions of people will loose their jobs, homes and even their lives. Great companies will go out of business and the government will try to print enough money to bail out the companies that may not fall down. Because the government will keep on printing money the dollar will worsen and if not acted in time the dollar will be worth nothing. After this happened a new monetary system will emerge, maybe a digital one or one back by gold again.

What am I doing?

Just to be clear, I am not a financial advisor or expert, please do your own research before making investment decisions. I will never tell you what to do. I will only tell you what I do. This may be right or may be wrong. I don't know.
Right now I am watching the market. I am invested in three asset classes, stocks, precious metals and cryptocurrency.

For stocks I am fully focused on mining stocks, there is a shortage in precious metals and some dealers won't even take new orders. I think mining stocks will out perform the market in the rest of the year and the years to come.
For precious metals I hope that I can add more to my portfolio, not only for growth but also as a security for anything that can come during the financial crisis. Also the precious metals have outperformed any market index.
For cryptocurrencies I am continuing to invest in my portfolio to the major top ten crypto's. My main focus is Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. These are the largest crypto's with regarding to market cap. Also over a longer period of time they have been proven to be a store of value.
I keep some cash for incidentals, emergencies and investment opportunities. I don't know what will happen or which one will survive. But my eggs in are all baskets and hopefully each basket with flourish to my investments.

Do your own research before investing. I recommend you watch the main stream media just as that you watch independent sources on Youtube. You need to listen to both sides of the story before you can judge about the facts and your investments. A few independent sources I would recommend are Mike Maloney from goldsilver.com, Robert Kyiosaki, The Rich Dad channel, Brian Rose, London Real, Patrick Bet-David, Valuentainment, Kitco News, for gold and silver investment, CNBC, main stream business news.

Thank you for reading, stay save and keep strong.

Week 60: Learn from others!!

Dear reader,  If there is something you want to do, know more about or become better at then often you can look for the right people that have been able to achieve what you want to do. By finding the right people that are able to teach you is far greater than keep making the same mistakes and failing at what you are willing to achieve. Most people that are good in something and are specialized are glad to help you to become better at whatever it is.  During the last few years I have been discovering most of my development myself. But at some moments and with somethings it is good to have someone you can ask for advice or more information. This week I am going to talk about what you can learn from others and what they can learn from you. In taking the steps to reach your success having someone around can have great advantages and maybe you can even help each other in some way or another.  Share the knowledge:   In this day and age it is easy to gain any type of knowle...

Week 12: Investing opportunity of a lifetime!!

Dear reader, These are crazy times, every country is going in lockdown, streets are empty, no airplanes in the sky. The world is changing as we know it. I use this time to educate myself. I have bought several books and I am planning on buying some more in the next weeks. But why is this the investing opportunity of a lifetime? Isn't the stock market falling down every day, aren't the business closed now and everyone is working from home..??? As Warren Buffet says: Attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy when others are fearful. Four opportunities of a lifetime: In our lifetime we will have four or five great business cycles where we can profit from. This means we are able to buy the business that we like so much at a discount from where it was several months ago. Think like you are doing your shopping. You love steaks, this week steak is at $5,- a pound, that's a lot for a steak, now you wait a week and you see that the same steak is sel...

Week 10: The everything bubble!!

Dear reader, The markets have been having some rough weeks. The outbreak of the Coronavirus has spread to over 100 countries and several countries have been in lockdown. The virus has impacted a lot on the world economy and will continue to do so for the rest of the year. Besides the Coronavirus there are more things affecting the global markets and the financial systems. The war on oil has spiked a great rally these last days and will continue to have great effect on different markets and industries. What is the everything bubble? I came about a video from Mike Maloney about a year and a half ago. Mike is big investor in global markets particularly to the world of precious metals such as gold and silver. His video's are of good inspiration and knowledge. He has a very openminded towards the different markets and the research he has done is very great to see things out of different perspectives. The title of his video is the everything bubble and I will leave a link t...
