Week 56: Millennial stock market take over!!

Dear reader,  If you have been in the stock market or have been following the market for a while you have seen probably a lot of different things with regards to stocks, manipulation and events that don't make any sense. This last week was no different. There is a new kid on the block with regards to stocks and investing. While investing and trading stocks was an old man's game and for people on Wall street, there is a growing force of millennials taking over the scene.  For several years I have been following the stock market and since the last few years I have been actively investing, trading and searching different markets. Since the last year many millennials have been investing and trading on easy to access platforms. I know this because many of my friends and colleagues have been joining the market in the past year. This week has been a strange week for the different markets. This week I am going to look at why millennials are entering the stock market, what this past we...

Week 55: Curfew!!

Dear reader,  "A regulation requiring people to remain indoors between specific hours, typically at night"   Since this weekend there is a curfew for the Netherlands. You are not allowed to be outside between 9pm and 4:30 am. In many different European countries there have been a lot different types of curfews. For France this means you can't go outside between 6pm and 6am. Each country has a different set of curfews, either for specific areas or different times that don't allow you to be outside.  For most people it is the first time ever to experience a curfew. With multiple versions of the Corona virus and governments not getting control over the virus this is the last resort to make sure the cases go down before a vaccination gets on its way. Being in a lock down and adding a curfew makes it harder and harder for people around the world to enjoy their freedom. Today I am going to look at what a curfew means for a country, the people and how you can use this tim...

Week 54: Goals and dreams for 2021!!

Dear reader,  A new year has started and it is that time of the year again. It is time to look at what we will be doing this year. What are the goals we are going to keep to and what are the dreams we are going to follow. Since last year I started with stating these goals on a whiteboard that I have in my room next to the door. Because I see it everyday these goals and dreams are becoming part of my daily life. Last year I did an in dept review about how I set my goals and dreams out for the year. Check out last years blog. This year I am going to use the same style and layout for the whiteboard. Almost all of the goals and dreams I have came out. I have done all but not all have been as successful or they just slipped under the goal. The greatest thing about this set up is that at some points you realize that you are actually finishing off goals and dreams faster than you think. This year as I mentioned in last week's blog I am going to do a check up every 12 weeks to see if I am ...

Week 53: New year, new style!!

Dear reader,  First of all a happy new year!! You have survived 2020 and it is time to make the best out of 2021. What to expect from me in 2021: Blog: This last year was a kind of "test" year to see if I enjoy blogging and to see what my style would be. Now after 52 blog post I am going to take it to the next level for this year. There would be more structures within my blogs, more in depth research, better layout and 1% better than last year. So what can you expect from me in 2021? Every twelve weeks there will be a quarter report just like last year. Next to that every month I am going to challenge myself with either a good habit or a bad habit that I would like to see changed. So every first Sunday of the month I will be writing about a challenge that I have done for the previous month. If you have any ideas or you want me to try something, let me know in the comments down below.  Next to upping my game in the blogging world you are able to listen to me to. Once a week e...

Week 52: 52 weeks of blogging!!

Dear reader,  What a year it has been, it has been a year that probably nobody thought it could ever happen in their lifetime. With lock downs, economic down turns and civil unrest around the world it is the year that most of us want to forget quickly. Unfortunately this is just the beginning and I think there's more to come. But this week's blog is not about all the terrible things that have happened. This week is the last week of the year and it is time to celebrate the year, our successes and look forward to the next year to create even more successes and make our dreams come true.   If you have been following me from the beginning of the year you could have seen what a turbulent year it has been for me. All my hopes and dreams that I had were taken away and I had to go back to the drawing board to make changes. The changes have been made and adjusted to the situation that we have found ourselves in. In the last few blogs I have done some reflecting about this year and...
