Every four years there is a election in the United States. It seems that every four years the election becomes more and more important, not only for the United States but also for the rest of the world. As it remains the worlds super power, every country is waiting what the results would be and whom they will be facing the next four years. With China and Russia following in the footsteps to become the worlds super powers these are very interesting times.
A lot has been going on this year, especially in the United States. With the massive world wide pandemic, black lives matter protests and riots in the streets the country has been more divided then ever before. Normally I stay a way from politics, living in the Netherlands the political system is very different then the American. But there is so much on the line this time what can change history and our lives. This week I am going to dive in the world of this upcoming election and I am going to see how it can influence your success.
I want to make the statement that I have no affiliation with any political party, preference for a president nor am I voting in this election.
World wide president:
In the world we have a few super powers, these are the United States, China, Russia and the European union combined. These powers are divided across the globe and each are located in different continents and have different political views. Since the early documentations of man kind different dynasties have ruled the world, even the Dutch have had their era in time. During the centuries the pendulum has shifted from east to west many times in the dominance hierarchy. Now with China rising as a super power we see the shift once again happening.
When the United States has an election the rest of the world watches. Since the last election more and more news outlets and people have been talking about this world wide. Not only is this night the night where you will find out who will be the president of the United States but also the most powerful man in the world. Because of the times of uncertainty, political, economical and social unrest these are the most important elections that we have ever had.
Political games:
The election in the United States has started to become one of the biggest reality soaps in the world. With people fighting for there own position and no sense of dignity or respect for the opponent the world is waiting for crazy move happens next. It started back for the presidential election in 2016 where different political presidents candidates started to disrespect each other, spreading news and other crazy theories about there opponents. Every thing was being done to make the other person look bad and to give themselves more chances to win.
This year it is not much different, during debates people are interrupting each other and the same tactic is being played to get more attention in the news and to get more votes in the polls. You almost or sometimes forget that these people are running for president not that they are in some kind of reality TV show. That is why I the political system works differently all around the world but you see in more countries that this type of political destruction is becoming more and more a tactic.
How this election can be your success?:
There is always someone who wins and always someone whom looses. With both of the presidential candidates I have the idea that they are able to set a stable course out for the United States and the rest of the world to follow. No matter what the results would be the social unrest will stay it might even get worse. The same follows for the economic unrest. With millions of people loosing there jobs and I need of financial stimulus they are not sure if what they got this year would help them in the next one. It is very difficult to set out a prediction.
For your own success you can only prepare, I have not gone into any details and kept this weeks post open so you can think. Like Robert Kiyosaki says there are three sides to each coin, listen to each side and stay balanced on the edge. If you are an investor then these times can make you or break you. With the clouds getting darker and the days shorter a lot is resting on what you have done in this last year. Are you able to survive and thrive during the next year, financial and socially this is going to be very important. Your success comes from the work you have done and if you have listing to both sides you are able to adjust to whom ever wins the election.
Just as a mentioned in the introduction I have no idea how this election will play out not do I have my preferences. I hope the world can become more peaceful, loving of one and other have a bit more respect for each other. What ever happens in the days and weeks after the election is out of our control, the only thing I can do is make the best choices that would be beneficial for my future. Maybe if you are reading this you all ready know who was won and how it has impacted the world.
